15. Al-Hijr - Rock City (سورة الحجر) - Revealed in Makkah
Verse 1 | (15:1)

قَالَ يَا إِبْلِيسُ مَا لَكَ أَلَّا تَكُونَ مَعَ السَّاجِدِينَ

قَالَ فَاخْرُجْ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٌ

And indeed, upon you is the curse until the Day of Recompense.

وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ اللَّعْنَةَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الدِّينِ

Indeed, My servants - no authority will you have over them, except those who follow you of the deviators.

إِنَّ عِبَادِي لَيْسَ لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَانٌ إِلَّا مَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الْغَاوِينَ

He said, Have you given me good tidings although old age has come upon me? Then of what [wonder] do you inform?

قَالَ أَبَشَّرْتُمُونِي عَلَى أَنْ مَسَّنِيَ الْكِبَرُ فَبِمَ تُبَشِّرُونَ

They said, We have given you good tidings in truth, so do not be of the despairing.

قَالَ وَمَنْ يَقْنَطُ مِنْ رَحْمَةِ رَبِّهِ إِلَّا الضَّالُّونَ
