Yahya related to me from Malik from ibn Shihab from Abu Salama ibn Abd ar-Rahman that A'isha, the wife of the Prophet, , said, "The Messenger of Allah, , was asked about mead, and he replied, 'Every drink which intoxicates is haram.' "
